Dr. Razia Jayman-Aristide earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed Internal Medicine residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. She holds a Master's degree in Health Professions, Pedagogy and Leadership (MS-HPPL) from Hofstra University, reflecting a commitment to clinical excellence and physician education.
She is board certified in Internal Medicine and describes her practice as supported by additional certification and training in Obesity Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine (DABOM, DipABLM), along with menopause health credentials and advanced training relevant to women's health across the lifespan.
Dr. Jayman-Aristide serves as CEO and Founder of Oya Health in Westbury, New York, and as Nassau County East District President of the New York Chapter of the American College of Physicians (NYACP). She has held roles including Chief Medical Officer of New York Health and academic appointments affiliated with the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, with ongoing involvement in resident training, physician education, and public health advocacy.
Rooted in a family tradition of medicine — her great-grandfather practiced in Sri Lanka — Dr. Jayman-Aristide approaches care with cultural sensitivity, thoroughness, and an emphasis on the whole patient.
